Courtney Peters
As a counselor, I am committed to helping individuals find healing, clarity, and renewed purpose in the face of life’s challenges. I believe that God has uniquely gifted each of us with the strengths and abilities needed to fulfill the specific purpose He has designed for our lives. My goal is to support others in their mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being so they can fully live out that purpose.
I take an integrative approach to counseling, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, and Biblical counseling. With CBT, I help clients identify and change patterns of thinking and behavior that contribute to anxiety, depression, and emotional distress. Together, we build practical tools to manage thoughts, emotions, and reactions in healthier, more productive ways. Drawing from the Client-Centered tradition, I believe that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued without judgment. I work to create a warm, empathetic, and non-directive space where clients can feel safe to explore their thoughts and experiences at their own pace. For those seeking a faith-based perspective, I offer support to help clients deepen their relationship with God, find spiritual encouragement, and navigate life’s challenges through the lens of faith.
